PitLane Director AC is a purpose-built broadcast director tool for Assetto Corsa sim racing leagues. It consolidates live race intelligence, AI-powered camera direction, professional broadcast overlays, and OBS integration into a single dashboard, giving one operator the control of a full TV broadcast team.

Do drivers need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. PitLane Director AC is a broadcaster-only tool. Drivers do not install plugins, clients, or any software. The broadcaster runs the app on their own machine and connects to the session like any other spectator.

Does it work with OBS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PitLane Director AC integrates with OBS via WebSocket for two-way control of scenes, sources, recording, streaming, and overlay refresh. Broadcast overlays are served as browser sources that OBS consumes directly, so the integration is fully automatic once set up.

How many devices can I activate per subscription?

Accepted Answer

The current plan allows up to three activated devices per subscription. Devices can be reviewed and deactivated at any time from the account dashboard, and reinstalling the app on a machine generates a new device identifier if needed.

Does it support Assetto Corsa Competizione or iRacing?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. Assetto Corsa is the first supported platform. Assetto Corsa Competizione is the next target on the platform roadmap, followed by iRacing and other sims. The director interface and intelligence layer are designed to extend to additional platforms as they ship.

Yes. PitLane Director AC ships with five production-grade Advanced Broadcast Overlays, and supports custom overlay creation, community overlay imports, and per-league branding so you can match the product to your event.

What are the system requirements?

PitLane Director AC runs on Windows 10 or Windows 11 and requires a working Assetto Corsa install with Custom Shaders Patch (CSP). OBS Studio is recommended for streaming workflows but is not strictly required.
