PitLane gives you full camera control over Assetto Corsa's spectator view — through the toolbar, keyboard shortcuts, or the AI Director.
Camera toolbar
The camera toolbar sits below the program monitor. It provides one-click access to camera modes and focus actions.
Camera modes
These buttons change how the camera follows the focused car:

| Chase | F2 | Forward-mounted camera looking ahead from the car |
| Track | F3 | Fixed trackside cameras that cycle angles automatically |

| Free | F5 | Detached camera at a fixed position |
| Onboard Free | — | External camera orbiting around the car |
| Drivable | — | Last used car-attached camera (no cycling) |

Focus controls
These buttons change which car the camera follows:

| Focus Battle | Ctrl+B | Focus on the chasing car in the tightest battle on track |
| Focus Leader | Ctrl+L | Switch to the race leader |
| Hold | Ctrl+H | Stay on the current car, pause the AI Director temporarily |
Toolbar customization
You can choose which buttons appear in the toolbar via View > Camera Toolbar. Toggle individual buttons on or off to match your workflow.

Other ways to focus a car
Beyond the toolbar and hotkeys:
- Click a driver in the leaderboard to focus the camera on them
- Click a car dot on the minimap to switch focus
- The AI Director selects cars automatically when enabled (see AI Director)
Customizing hotkeys
Go to Settings > Hotkeys to rebind any shortcut. Click a hotkey field and press the new key combination you want to assign. Hotkeys that conflict with existing bindings will be flagged.
